In my bed, I'm safe and sound
The beasts I fear are not around
But should I find the need to creep
Down the hall, with silent feet
I need not fear if they can see
Since monsters are afraid of me
They better keep their distance wide
While I'm around they'd better hide
For if I catch one in the night
I'll simply reach and flip the light
For beast and ghouls do fear the day
They shrivel up, they go away
Back in my bed, I'm safe and sound
And sleep brings peaceful dreams around
